Springfield manufactured internal parts as well as bolt, op rod and gas assembly. Correct walnut stock, leather cheek piece, 50's dated military web sling and proper re-inspections at pistol grip. Complete with proper M-2 flash hider. PROVENANCE: From High Condition Collection of Discerning U.S. Military Rifle Collector, Offered Without Reserve. CONDITION: Exceptional overall as re-issued, optics bright and clear, sunshade and adjustments function properly. Bore and mechanics are bright and crisp. Arsenal gray/green Parkerized finish is excellent with only traces of edge wear as to be expected. Web sling and leather cheek rest in very fine condition.
