SUPERIOR FIRST MODEL SMITH & WESSON LADY SMITH SN: 458.SMITH & WESSON1ST LADY SMITH45822LRMODERN; C&RCal. 22. 3-1/2" bbl. Blue finish with case colored hammer and trigger. 7-shot cyl. Smith & Wesson monogrammed hard rubber grips. Blade front and fixed sight. Extremely early 3 digit SN, with first model frame mounted cyl release. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of Jim Baldwin. CONDITION: Extremely fine with most all finish remaining with very little loss at high points of cyl, backstrap and trigger guard. Bbl markings are very light and believed to be over polished at manufacture or possibly a very early factory re-finish. Bore is exceptional, mechanics are fine. Matching SN's are found on frame, cyl and bbl. Grips fit excellently, but not numbered to gun. 50975-5 TDW (1,750-2,500)
