EXCEPTIONALLY FINE SMITH & WESSON LADY SMITH THIRD MODEL REVOLVER.SMITH & WESSON2ND LADY SMITH1608422LRMODERN; C&RCal. 22. 6" bbl. Blue finish overall with case colored trigger and hammer. Pinned fixed front and rear sight. Square butt frame with 2-pc checkered walnut grips with gold deep dish medallions. 7-shot cyl with hand ejector extraction. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of Jim Baldwin. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine example with most blue finish remaining with thinning on cyl and finish loss on bbl towards muzzle as well as backstrap and front strap of grips. Typical light finish loss at high points and crowns of frame. Bore is exceptionally fine with good mechanics. Most case color remains on hammer and trigger with slight loss on sides from use. Grips are very good with evidence of having checkering been chased in an attempt to clean them lightly. Very fine gold grip medallions.
