ENGRAVED SMITH & WESSON MILITARY POLICE REVOLVER WITH CARVED TWO PIECE IVORY GRIPS.SMITH & WESSONMILITARY/POLICE67833438SPECMODERN; C&R; IVORYCal. 38SPEC. 4" bbl. Blue finish. 2-pc ivory grips. Carved with floral motif. Revolver has been engraved with a scrolled-floral motif on the frame, breech end of the bbl, and on the ramp of the front-sight. Bbl has been fitted with a King patent front-sight and frame has been fitted with a S&W adjustable rear-sight. SN on butt, bbl, and cyl match. Engraving is nicely accomplished. CONDITION: Fine, as refinished after engraving. Smith & Wesson markings on both sides of bbl are sharp. Bbl address is partially covered by sight ramp. Cyl shows a slight drag mark. Bore and chambers are clean. Traces of case color remain on hammer and trigger. Hammer knurling has been re-cut. Grips are fine, with a small age crack on left side. A very handsome Smith & Wesson MP revolver that was embellished, restocked and fit with target sights. 50626-4 TEP (3,000-5,000)
