EXCEPTIONAL COLT MODEL 1903 SPUR HAMMER AUTOMATIC. COLT 1903 36428 .38 CAL MODERN; C&R Cal. 38 Auto. 4-1/2" bbl. Deep rich factory blue finish shows no wear. Case colored finish on hammer with 2-pc period mother-of-pearl grips. Proper blue finish 7-round magazine with early markings "PKT. Colt .38 Cal". CONDITION: Stone new is a term that is rarely used to describe a collectable firearm. This gun retains all of its orig pre-war blue finish with no traces of edge wear or distress. The case colored hammer retains almost all of its orig finish with exception of front pad from striking the firing pin. Top of chamber shows no finish loss. The internal areas of the slide and ejector area have a fair amount of very old dried grease that in no way detracts from this gun. The trigger does show evidence of having been pulled to the rear and that is all. 2-pc mother-of-pearl grips are exceptional and vibrant with no chips, distress, or damage whatsoever. The finest model 1903 I have ever seen. 50827-17 TDW (3,000-5,000)
