EXCEPTIONAL COLT WOODSMAN FIRST MODEL MATCH TARGET WITH BOX.COLTBULLSEYE TARGETMT526922LRMODERN; C&RCal. 22. 6-1/2" bbl. Blue finish overall with matte finish on top of bbl and slide. Patridge front sight with Stevens adjustable rear sight. Colt walnut elephant ear checkered grips with Rampant Colt medallions. Proper Colt Match Target marked magazine. Accompanied by numbers matching Colt Match Target box with labels. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of Jim Baldwin. CONDITION: Superb overall condition with very slight loss of finish at high points of muzzle and edges of rear frame. Shows very little handling or use with excellent bore and mechanics. Elephant ear grips are superb with no distress, cracking or visible wear. Manufactured 1939. Colt box is very fine with excellent labels and numbered on bottom.
