UNCOMMON AND UNIQUE A.F. STOEGER 22 CONVERSION UNIT FOR 1911 GOVERNMENT PISTOL.A.F.STOEGER45 TO 22 CONVERSION3822LRCal. 22LR. Single shot conversion for the 1911 government with assembly numbers 38 on major components with a 6-1/4" overall length of bbl and positive single shot ejection. Drift adjustable rear sight with integral machined front sight. Magnificently crafted with stellar machine work. Purportedly manufactured in the late '20's and early 1930's. Housed in its period A.F. Stoeger commercially marked leather scabbard. CONDITION: Very fine overall, with slight wear at muzzle, with excellent bore and mechanics. One small ding on top of chamber, otherwise, excellent. Scabbard has good solid stitching and supple brown leather, however, back of snap has pulled free and needs to be reattached. Extremely uncommon. 51034-22 TDW (500-1,000)
