PUSAN JIN IRON WORKS HAND MADE COPY OF 1911 PISTOL.PUSAN JIN IRON WORKS191124745ACPMODERN; C&RCal. 45 ACP. Hand made copy of 1911 pistol and identified by markings on slide by being Pusan Jin Iron Works. Made for local consumption utilizing some orig U.S. military components. A very close outward resemblance of a 1911 and somewhat close dimensionally. Appears to have left their manufacturing facility in the white as there are no traces of finish after detailed disassembly. A truly interesting in-theater manufactured weapon. PROVENANCE: Gerard Ruth Collection, ex Alex Chauffe SR. CONDITION: Outward condition appears to be fine. Believed to have been manufactured and left in the white, but no knowledge of its metallurgy strengths or weaknesses. 51036-12 TDW (1,000-2,000)
