1) UNITED STATES CARTRIDGE CO 50 RND 2-PC BOX. Orange labels with red and black print. Cal. ".45 COLT AUTO, C.F." for "COLT'S AUTOMATIC PISTOL/FULL METAL JACKET BULLET". Bottom of box stamped "27 E/M 26 MI". 2) FRANKFORD ARSENAL 20 RND BOX. Marked "PISTOL BALL/CALIBER .45 M1911/AMMUNITION LOT F.A. 981". 3) FRANKFORD ARSENAL 20 RND BOX. Marked "PISTOL, BALL/CALIBER .45 M 1911/For AUTOMATIC PISTOL, CAL. .45 M 1911/Powder, Pistol, No. 5, Army Lot 99 Cartridge Lot No 378". 4) UNITED STATES CARTRIDGE CO 20 RND BOX OF BALL CARTRIDGES. "For AUTOMATIC PISTOL, Cal. 45, Model of 1911./Smokeless Powder, Muzzel (sic) Velocity 800 +/- 25 feet per second,/Dupont Powder Lot No." SIZE: PROVENANCE: The Advance Collection of Gerard A. Ruth formerly of Alex Chauffe Sr. and Jack Whitaker. CONDITION: 1) Full box with sealed sides. Bottom is loose along one edge and one side allowing inspection of cartridges. Label shows light fading with some tattering of edges. 2) Sealed box having faded label. 3) Box has open end flap with slight tear on box side and label. Label shows slight fading. Box has plastic wrap preventing inspection. 4) Slight fading of label. Box has plastic wrap preventing inspection. 51036-29 DS (250-500)
