PRIME TRANSITIONAL COLT PEQUENO DOUBLE ACTION WITH BOX.COLTPEQUENO22794632MODERN; C&RCal. 32 Police. 4" bbl. Nickel finish. Colt hard rubber grips. Manufactured 1927. Numbers matching Colt box. Considered a transitional by most collectors due to the lack of Pequeno marking on bbl but boxes and factory records typically reflect these as Pequeno. PROVENANCE: The Charles Copeland, Jr. Collection. CONDITION: Prime condition with no evidence of use. Nickel finish is bright with no staining or discoloration. Grips are perfect with no chipping or shrinking. All screws excellent. Action and mechanics are excellent. Box with strong label and Pequeno top label is very fine with slight edge wear and evidence of previous repair on top cover. 50823-22 TDW (2,500-3,500)
