BLASER S2 SAFARI SUPER LUXUS DOUBLE RIFLE WITH CASE.BLASERSXS DBL RIFLE S2 SUPER LUXUSS/01262470 NEMODERNCal. 470 Nitro Express. 25" Mono-bloc bbls are fitted with full length rib with portions milled away forming base for single standing leaf rear and gold bead front sights. Muzzles are fitted with regulating mechanism. Mono-bloc is marked with caliber, makers name, SN, and model. Sides are deeply scroll engraved. Coin finished action with tilting lock block, has cocking/ safety slide on top tang. Action is fitted with ornamental sideplates, and is engraved with 60% coverage exceptionally well cut shaded scroll. Sideplates depict nicely detailed vignettes of really big game, with a pair of elephant on left, and cape buffalo on right. Fine flesh-toned classically streaked and nicely figured European walnut capped pistol grip stock measures 14-3/4" over black "Universal" pad. Stock features point pattern checkering and swept right hand cheekpiece. Composition grip cap has large central oval depicting the king of beasts. Matching small schnabeled beavertail forend has large ebony tip, and Blaser release with Deeley type latch. Drop at heel: approx 2-5/8", drop at comb: approx 1-11/16". Weight: 11 lbs. 9 oz. LOP: 14-3/4". Multi-barrel Americase with ballistic cloth outer cover is lined in green velvet, and has Blaser name embroidered on divider. Case contains a trigger lock. CONDITION: Excellent, near new, with only a few faint handling marks on wood and metal. Mechanically crisp. Case is excellent.
