FINE 20 GAUGE ARMAS GARBI MODEL "103 B SPECIAL" SHOTGUN WITH EXTRA BARRELS AND CASE. GARBI SXS 103B SPEC GA14610 20 GA MODERN Cal. 20 ga. 2-3/4" Chambers. 27" and 27-3/4" Chopper lump bbls are fitted with slightly raised, matted, game ribs gold inlaid "1" (27") or "2" (27-3/4") at breech ends. Tops of bbls are engraved with makers name and address, model, and importer. Bbl flats are stamped with 1982 Spanish nitro proofs. Both bbl sets are fitted with H&H type self-opening assist spring. Coin finished sidelock action is nicely filed and features automatic safety, bushed strikers, and dbl triggers (front articulated). Action and lockplates are hand engraved with traditional Purdey type rose and scroll. "ARMAS GARBI" "EIBAR" is on bottom of action. Single beaded trigger guard has SN on tang. Well marbled European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14-3/8" over checkered wood butt, and features drop points and diamond hand with classic point pattern checkering with mullered borders. Matching splinter ejector forend has Anson release. BBL set "1": Bore diameter: left -.621, right - .621. Bore restrictions: left - .017 (mod), right - .006 (IC). Drop at heel: 2-1/8", drop at comb: 1-1/2". Cast: approx 1/4" off. Weight: 5 lbs. 11 oz. LOP: 14-3/8". BBL set "2": Bore diameter: left -.622, right - .621. Bore restrictions: left - .029 (full), right - .012 (Lt mod). Drop at heel: 2-1/8", drop at comb: 1-1/2". Cast: approx 1/4" off. Weight: 5 lbs. 13 oz. LOP: 14-3/8". Tan leather case with brass corners is lined in green felt, and has embroidered Garbi label in lid. Case contains spare mainsprings, spare ejector springs, and firing pins, as well as cleaning brush and key in black morocco wallet. PROVENANCE: Remarkable William Larkin Moore Private Estate Collection of Fine Sporting Arms. CONDITION: Excellent, very near to new, with only a few very light handling and assembly marks in wood and metal. Mechanically crisp. Case leather has some scuffs.
