FINE QUALITY BELGIAN OVER-UNDER SIDEPLATED BOXLOCK EJECTOR SINGLE TRIGGER GAME GUN RETAILED BY RASETTI OF BUENOS AIRES. BELGIAN RASETTI OU BLE GAME GUN 25709 20 GA MODERN; C&R Cal. 20 ga. 2-3/4" Chambers. 27-1/8" Demi-bloc bbls are fitted with narrow, matted, solid rib. Bottom bbl is stamped with 1960 Belgian nitro proofs for 2-3/4" chambers. Coin finished, reduced profile, round bodied, sideplated boxlock action features non-automatic safety (S inlaid in gold) and single selective trigger. Action and sideplates are engraved with 80 - 90% coverage nicely shaded open scroll. Top lever pivot is relief engraved "RASETTI BUENOS AIRES". Nicely fiddle figured and well marbled European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14-3/16" over checkered wood butt, and features diamond hand with point pattern checkering. Matching 3-pc ejector forend has Anson release. Bore diameter: top -.630, bottom - .631. Bore restrictions: top - .002 (skeet), bottom - .000 (skeet). Wall thickness: top - .020, bottom - .022. Drop at heel: 2-3/16", drop at comb: 1-3/8". Cast: approx 1/4" off. Weight: 5 lbs. 11 oz. LOP: 14-3/16". PROVENANCE: Remarkable William Larkin Moore Private Estate Collection of Fine Sporting Arms. CONDITION: Excellent, as partially refinished. Bbls retain approx 95% of what appears to be orig blue, with some light marks and rubs. Coin finish of action remains bright.
