PARKER CHE GAME GUN.PARKERCHE12642612 GAMODERN; C&RCal. 12 Ga. 2-3/4" Cham. 28" bbls with full length matted rib with twin ivory beads, marked "Parker Bros,, Makers. Meriden, Conn. Titanic Steel". 1-1/2 frame. Water table with SN and grade designation and bbl flats with unstruck bbl weight 3 lbs. 1 oz. Double nickel plated triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock checkered in typical "C" pattern with teardrop behind action, unengraved nickel oval at toe and checkered butt. Splinter forearm with Deeley release, nicely scroll engraved and wave border engraved with patent date and engraved steel tip, checkered in standard "C" pattern. Receiver is beautifully engraved with setter on right, pointer on left in game scene surrounded by well executed Parker scroll and marked "Parker Bros." in flowing banner towards back of action. Breech balls and top of frame with deeply cut scroll and geometric design as is top lever. Bottom of frame nicely scroll engraved with setter and flushing pheasant in game scene surrounded by scroll on floorplate. Trigger guard is nicely scroll engraved at bow and SN noted at tang. Bore diameter: left - .743, right - .746. Bore restrictions: left - .019 (MOD), right - .010 (IM CYL). Minimum wall thickness: left - .021, right - .020. Weight: 6 lbs. 11 oz. Drop at comb: 1-5/8", drop at heel: 2-1/4". LOP: 14-1/8". CONDITION: Excellent as refurbished. Bbls retain virtually of a fine quality re-black. Receiver retains 95-98% of its bright Parker style factory correct type restored case color. Engraving slightly softened. Buttstock is an exceptional period of use replacement with light handling marks and fine craquelure throughout finish. Forearm with craquelure in finish appears to also be a possible factory replacement. Bbls are ever so slightly off the face. Bores are very good with orange peel and a couple of repaired dents.
