SCARCE PARKER DHE 20 GAUGE SHOTGUN.PARKERDH13331320 GAMODERN; C&RCal. 20 ga. 26" bbls with 2-3/4" chambers. Full length matted rib with white plastic mid-bead, front bead is missing and marked "Parker Bros, Makers. Meriden, Conn. Titanic Steel". "0" frame. Water table with SN and grade designation, Bbl flats with unstruck bbl weight of 2 lbs. 15 oz. Nickel plated double triggers, automatic ejectors and automatic safety. Custom replacement straight grip stock, checkered in 2 point pattern with tear drop behind action, silver oval at toe and checkered butt. Replacement splinter forearm checkered in typical DHE pattern with scroll and floral engraved Deeley latch and steel tip. Receiver is engraved in typical early D-pattern with pointer on left, setter on right both in game scenes surrounded by light scroll and marked "Parker Bros." in flowing banner at back of action. Bottom of frame is lightly scroll engraved and trigger plate with 4 birds surrounded by light scroll. Breech balls, top of frame, and top lever are lightly scroll engraved and with geometric patterns. Bore diameter: left - .618, right - .618. Bore restrictions: left - .023 (imp/mod), right - .004 (imp/cyl). Minimum wall thickness: left - .025, right - .027 . Weight: 6 lbs. 3 oz. Drop at comb: 1-7/16", drop at heel: 2". LOP: 14-1/2". CONDITION: Excellent as refurbished. Bbls retain nearly all of their competently restored rust blue. Custom buttstock & forearm are excellent and retain most of their custom finish with light handling marks. Receiver and forearm iron retain nearly all of their cyanide Delgrego style case colors. Replacement trigger guard retains nearly all of its custom blued finish. Bores are near excellent. Top lever is slightly left of center and safety feels a bit gummy.
