PARKER DHE TRAP GUN.PARKERDHE23280012 GAMODERN; C&R; IVORYCal. 12 ga. Chambers are 2-3/4". 32" Titanic steel bbls with full length matted top rib and twin ivory beads and marked "Parker Bros. Makers Meriden. CT. U.S.A. Titanic Steel". 1-1/2 frame. Water table with SN and grade designation. Bbl flats with unstruck bbl weight of 4 lbs. 2 oz. and Remington repair codes of "ANN" (March 1951) and "BK" (Jan 1941). Miller single trigger, auto ejectors, non-automatic safety, older replacement straight grip stock, checkered in flowing wave pattern with English style teardrops behind action, nickel oval near toe and modern silvers type pad with leather face. Face of pad appears to be an old leather case label and embossed in gold says "Parker Guns / The Old Reliable". Large beavertail forearm, checkered in typical D-grade pattern with engraved Deeley latch and proper reinforcing bolt at head. Frame is engraved in typical D-pattern with setter on right pointer on left, both in game scene surrounded by well cut Parker scroll & marked "Parker Bros." in flowing banner. Bottom of action is lightly scroll engraved and trigger plate engraved with 4 pheasants surrounded by light scroll. Trigger guard bow is scroll engraved, tang with light floral border and SN noted. Bore diameter: left - .729, right - .731. Bore restrictions: left - .033 (full), right - .028 (full). Minimum wall thickness: left - .033, right - .030 . Weight: 7 lbs. 10 oz. Drop at comb: 1-3/8", drop at heel: -15/16". LOP: 13-3/4" from rear position single trigger". CONDITION: Excellent. Bbls and trigger guard retain most of a professionally restored finish. Buttstock a well done replacement as noted above and retains most of its custom varnish. Checkering lightly thinned. Forearm is very good and retains most of an older restored finish, with older repair on right side near frame as is common on many beavertail Parkers. Receiver retains 30-40% nice orig case color, mostly on sides and on trigger plate. Bores are near excellent. Ejectors are in time. Trigger is in need of adjustment. 50604-11 JSL (3,500-5,500)
