FABULOUS PARKER VHE 28 GAUGE IN SKEET CONFIGURATION WITH BOX AND HANG TAGS.PARKER BROSSxS VHE23695428GAMODERN; C&R; IVORYCal. 28 ga. 26" bbls. 2-7/8" chambers. Full length matted top rib with twin ivory beads and marked "Parker Bros. Makers Meriden. CT. U.S.A. Parker Vulcan Steel". 00 frame. Water table with lightning cuts, SN and grade designation noted. Bbl flats with unstruck bbl weight of 2 lbs. 13 ozs. Parker SST, automatic ejectors, automatic safety. Straight grip stock, checkered in 2-point pattern with checkered butt and engraved nickel shield with large "G". Beaver tail forearm checkered in typical "V" pattern with Deeley latch and proper reinforcing bolt at muzzle end. Receiver is zig-zag border engraved and marked "PARKER" on bottom of frame. Accompanied by a cardboard shipping box with "The Parker Gun" type end label identifying this gun by SN and other measurements. Included in the box are 2 hang tags, one identifying this gun as currently found, and a yellow Parker instruction hang tag. Also included is the late 1930's "CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR CHOICE OF A PARKER GUN" pamphlet. Bore diameter: left - .558, right - .550. Bore restrictions: left - .023 (full), right - .004 (imp. cyl.). Minimum wall thickness: left - .020, right - .026 . Weight: 5 lbs. 15 oz. Drop at comb: 1-5/8", drop at heel: 2-1/4". LOP: 14-1/4" from rear position sgl trigger. CONDITION: Exceptional showing nearly all of a high quality expert restoration. Bbls and trigger guard retain nearly all of a high quality rust blued restored finish. Receiver retains 97-99% bright restored Parker type case colors. Buttstock and forearm are exceptional as restored and retain most of their high quality custom high gloss finish. Checkering is crisp and gun has been very little used since restoration.
