FN BROWNING SUPERPOSED EXHIBITION UPGRADE SHOTGUN WITH GOLD INLAY AND ENGRAVING BY ANGELO BEE WITH CASE.FN BROWNING SUPERPOSEDOU EXHIBITION58201S7612 GAMODERNCal. 12 ga. 2-3/4" Chambers. 28" Bbls with broadway, ventilated rib are engraved "Fabrique Nationale Herstal" on top left, and stamped with Browning Morgan Utah and Montreal addresses, etc. on right. Blued Superlight type action has non-automatic safety and blued well filed single selective trigger with checkered finger blade. Action is engraved with well cut large open scroll within geometric borders surrounding vignettes of game birds in semi relief gold inlaid detailed backgrounds; trio of quail flushing over rail fence on left side of action, and a trio of doves swooping into a clearing on right. A woodcock is flitting through alders on bottom of action. Engraving is signed "A Bee" under quail scene, and "J Breugelmans" on trigger plate. Nicely marbled and lightly figured European walnut long tang square knob buttstock measures 14-1/2" over red Decelerator pad, and features carved drop points, and well cut modified point pattern checkering which wraps over grip. Target style forend matches well. Bore diameter: top -.729, bottom - .728. Bore restrictions: Screw chokes. Drop at heel: 2-3/8", drop at comb: 1-3/8". Cast: approx 1/2" off. Weight: 7 lbs. 5 oz. LOP: 14-1/2". Tan vinyl Hartmann case is lined in faux fur. PROVENANCE: Remarkable William Larkin Moore Private Estate Collection of Fine Sporting Arms. CONDITION: Excellent, as custom finished, with high edge wear on blued metal parts, and a number of minor marks in wood, as would be associated with light use. Pad is new. Bores are excellent.
