IN STORAGE OVER 40 YEARS, TRULY EXCEPTIONAL NEAR MINT WINCHESTER MODEL 21 20 GAUGE SKEET SHOTGUN.WINCHESTER211356720GAMODERN; C&RCal. 20 ga. 26" bbls marked for 2-3/4" chambers with full length matted rib and red plastic front bead with steel mid bead. Chokes marked WS-1 and WS-2. Water table with standard Model 21 markings and bbl flats with SN. SST, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety. Full pistol grip buttstock checkered in 2-pt pattern is of flame grained American walnut with checkered butt. Beaver tail forearm checkered in skeet pattern with roll type release and SN stamped on forearm iron and wood. Unengraved receiver stamped at bottom of trigger plate "Skeet". Mfg in 1942. Accompanying this gun is a Bauer Brothers tooled leather leg-o-mutton case and its orig hang-tag. Also accompanying this gun is a June 2016 Winchester Repeating Arms Co. factory letter confirming gun in its current configuration. Bore diameter: left - .614, right - .614. Bore restrictions: left - .007 (skeet), right - .000 (skeet). Weight: 6 lbs. 11 oz. Drop at comb: 1-5/8", drop at heel: 2-1/2". LOP: 14". CONDITION: Exceptional and near mint. Bbls retain nearly all of their orig blued finish as does receiver and trigger guard. Front of receiver with minute scratching at forearm, but overall retains all of its dark blue orig finish. Stampings are crisp. Buttstock and forearm are near mint with only minor handling marks. Checkering is crisp. Action is tight. Mechanics are excellent. Breech face shows only minor ejector scrapes indicating this as a near mint gun. Case is very good with scuffs and rub marks. Shoulder strap has ripped as has end cap.
