ATTRACTIVE 20 GAUGE LUCIANO BOSIS "MICHAELANGELO" OVER-UNDER SIDELOCK SINGLE TRIGGER GAME GUN HAVING CASE HARDENED LINE BORDER GOLD INLAID METALWORK, WITH CASE.LUCIANO BOSISOU MICHAELANGELO31620GAMODERNCal. 20 ga. 2-3/4" Chambers. 26-3/4" Demi-bloc bbls by Luterotti with low matted solid rib, are gold inlaid "LUCIANO BOSIS BRESCIA" on left side of top bbl. There are inlaid narrow gold lines around breech section. Bottom flat is stamped with 2003 Italian nitro proofs. Importers name and address, "BSA Millbrook NY", is on bottom of bottom bbl. Scaled down case hardened low profile OU action fitted with pinless sidelocks features automatic safety (S inlaid in gold), and single non-selective trigger. Action has vibrant case hardened color and is left unadorned except for very attractive gold line border inlay. "LUCIANO BOSIS" is in gold on both sideplates, as well as on bottom action over "BRESCIA". Blued small bow trigger guard continues gold line theme with SN in gold on tang. Very fine, wonderfully dark marbled and lightly figured European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14-5/8" over skip line checkered wood butt. Classic drop points and point pattern checkering are at grip, and gold oval engraved "BR" is on toe line. Matching slim ejector forend with Anson type release has gold Bosis crest inlet into uncheckered central diamond. Bore diameter: top -.626, bottom - .625. Bore restrictions: top - .024 (Imod), bottom - .090 (IC). Drop at heel: 2-3/16", drop at comb: 1-5/16". Cast is approx 1/2" off. Weight: 6 lbs. 6 oz. LOP: 14-5/8". Russet leather case with stitched leather corners by Nizzoli, is lined in dark green cloth and has large Bosis paper label in lid. Case contains 3-pc walnut and brass cleaning rod with mop and brush, pair of Bosis marked snap caps, round oil bottle, and a small plastic box containing spare mainsprings, spare firing pins, and assembly tool. CONDITION: Excellent, very near to new, with only a few light handling and assembly marks in all fine factory finishes. Appears to have been fired very little since proof.
