UNUSUAL OVER-UNDER SHOTGUN AND SIDE BY SIDE RIFLE MULTI CALIBER VIERLING BY G. JUCH OF FERLACH. JUCH VIERLING 512778 20x20, 9.3x74R, 5.6 x 50R, MODERN; C&R Cal. 20 ga x 20 ga 3" Chambers, 9.3 x 74R/ 5.6x 50R. 24" Demi bloc bbl group has OU 20 ga bbls and side by side rifle bbls with large caliber on the right. Top bbl is fitted with full length narrow, matted rib with mid portion cut away forming quarter rib and front ramp. Rear portion of rib is fitted with claw bases. A bronze rear sight is dovetailed through mid rib 8" from muzzle for rapid sighting, rear rib with plugged dovetail. All bbls are of Bohler Super Blitz steel and are Ferlach proofed. Cyma curved back, coin finished, Blitz double Kersten action has tang safety and rifle/ shotgun selector to left of top lever. All strikers are bushed, and action is fitted with gold plated double triggers (both set). Action is engraved with deeply cut acanthus scroll with punch dot background surrounding vignettes of game suitable for this combination gun. A pair of boar are on left side, with a fox chasing a hare on right. Bottom of action has circular vignette of cock and hen pheasant. Trigger guard is steel. Beautifully figured and nicely marbled European walnut pistol grip buttstock measures 14-5/8" over black Decelerator pad. Matching full forend with schnabeled tip has Deeley release. Kaps 2 - 8 X 42 30mm rail scope has crosshair and three post reticle, and is in claw mounts. Bore diameter: top -.615, bottom - .615. Bore restrictions: top - .025 (full), bottom - .008 (IC). Drop at heel: approx 2-3/8", drop at comb: approx 1-5/8". Neutral cast. Weight without scope: 8 lbs. 2 oz. LOP: 14-5/8". CONDITION: Excellent. Bbls have approx 80% blue, considerably thinned on rifle bbls. Action retains nearly all of its coin finish. Stocks have only a few light marks in their orig hand rubbed oil finish.
