SCARCE BROWNING SUPERPOSED POINTER GRADE 20 GA SHOTGUN ENGRAVED BY VRANCKEN. BROWNING DIANA 17598 20GA MODERN; C&R Cal. 20 ga. 28 " bbls. 3" chambers. Chokes marked Mod/Full. Full length matted low profile ventilated top rib with steel front bead. Gold plated SST, auto ejectors, non-auto safety. Stock is RKLT configuration checkered in three-point pattern with 14-1/8" LOP over Browning HRBP. Round nose forearm checkered in five-point pattern. Receiver is beautifully engraved in typical Pointer grade pattern. Pointer with fallen duck on left, pointer with fallen pheasant on right, surrounded by well executed scroll and border engraving. Bottom of frame with two quail, trigger guard with two pheasants in field scenes surrounded by scroll engraving. Left side with engraver's signature "Vrancken". Weight: 6 lbs. 5 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, as partially refurbished. Bbls retain nearly all of a professional rust blued restored finish. Buttstock and forearm are excellent, and retain nearly all of a professionally restored finish. Buttplate is good with worm hole losses. Action is excellent with only very minor staining.
