WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 RIFLE WITH HALF ROUND HALF OCTAGON BARREL IN 50 EXPRESS CALIBERWINCHESTER188612262450 EXMODERN; C&RCal. 50 EX. 25-3/4" 1/2 rnd 1/2 oct bbl. Full magazine. Winchester Express front sight. 2 leaf rear sight. Blue finish. Straight grain American walnut stocks with steel shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Fine as totally refinished. Bbl and magazine tube retain 80% blue finish that is drifting to a plum brown patina toward the muzzle. Bbl markings are sharp. Sights are very good. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Receiver retains 80% thinning blue finish with some slight staining. Bolt is drifting to a plum brown patina. Hammer and lever are also a plum brown patina. Stocks are very good, slightly undersized and show evidence of light cleaning and refinish. Stocks show numerous handling marks overall. Buttplate shows 50% blue finish.
