VERY ATTRACTIVE CUSTOM ENGRAVED WINCHESTER MODEL 94 CARBINE.WINCHESTER94128571632WSMODERN; C&RCal. .32 WS. 20" bbl, full mag, blue finish, nicely figured and checkered American walnut stocks. Engraving is masterfully executed with a vignette of a buck and doe on the left side and a vignette of a moose on the right side. Engraving is bordered by floral scroll work that has a 1-line gold border all around. Engraving is also seen at the muzzle, bbl bands, bbl breech, hammer, lever, and the buttplate. There is a gold band at the muzzle and breech end of the bbl with gold accents on the hammer and lever. The initial "R" is found on the top forward part of the receiver which could possibly be the engravers signature. CONDITION: Very fine as refinished after engraving. Bbl and mag tube retain 95% of the blue finish that is drifting slightly plum towards the muzzle. Sights very good. Front sight hood is missing. Bbl markings are sharp. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Receiver retains nearly all the blue finish, engraving is sharp and clear. Tang markings are sharp. Stocks are fine, full sized, and show only minuscule handling marks. Buttstock and forearm show crotch grain on both sides. Buttplate and bbl bands also retain nearly all the blue finish. A wonderfully executed, masterfully engraved, Winchester model 94 carbine that would be very expensive to reproduce. 51430-1 TEP (2,500-4,000)
