LOT OF THREE WINCHESTER LEVER ACTION RIFLES CONSISTING OF A MODEL 53, AND TWO MODEL 1894 CARBINES.WINCHESTER53365525 WCFMODERN; C&RCal. .25 WCF. 22" rnd bbl, butt mag, brass bead front sight, Redfield front sight, blue finish, straight grained American walnut stocks with steel shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl retains 20% blue finish especially in protected areas with the balance being a silver/gray patina. Sights are very good. Bbl markings are sharp. Bore is frosty with visible rifling. Receiver retains 20-30% blue especially in protected areas. Receiver has 4 holes drilled on left side for a scope mount. Tang markings are clear. Stocks are very good, full sized, and show nearly all of the varnish finish with handling marks overall. There are two notches cut at the right rear of the forestock. 51138-7 TEP (1,500-3,000)
WINCHESTER 1894 625461 38-55 MODERN; C&R Cal. .38-55. 20" rnd bbl, full mag, saddle ring attached, blue finish, straight grained American walnut stocks with carbine buttplate. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl and mag have been cleaned to a silver/gray patina with some staining on top of the bbl. Bbl markings are clear and sharp. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Receiver, hammer, lever, and trigger have all been cleaned to a silver/gray patina with some slight oil staining under lever. Markings are sharp and clear. Stocks are very good, have been lightly cleaned and shoe some small handling marks overall. A nice carbine in a very desirable cal. 51138-8 TEP (500-1,000)
WINCHESTER 1894 288482 25-35 MODERN; C&R Cal. .25-35 WCF. 16" bbl, ful mag, blue finish, no saddle ring attached, straight grained American walnut stocks with carbine buttplate. Three leaf rear sight. Bbl has been replaced and cut down to 16" and made into a faux trapper. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbl and mag tube have been cleaned. Muzzle has been re-crowned, bbl lacks "WP" proof mark which is present on receiver. Bbl address is missing, cal mark is sharp. Rear sight mortise has been filled. Bore is dark with visible rifling. Receiver retains 50% blue finish with mars and scratches overall. Tang markings are sharp. Stocks are very good, full size with very few handling marks and may be replacements. Buttplate is a silver/gray patina. Bbl band is full blue and appears to also be a replacement. 51138-9 TEP (500-1,000)
