WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 SADDLE RING CARBINE WITH HERTER'S FLASH SUPPRESSOR.WINCHESTER189540473230-06MODERN; C&RCal. .30-06. 22" bbl with suppressor, Lyman Patent ivory bead front sight, ladder rear sight, tang sight, blue finish, saddle ring attached, straight grained American walnut stock with carbine buttplate, and hand guard. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl shows 50% blue drifting to smooth plum/brown patina with a couple of minuscule scratches. Suppressor shows 50% blue. Bore is dark with visible rifling. Receiver shows 10% blue in protected areas with the balance a mottled gray patina with some staining. Bolt shows 50% blue. Receiver marking is sharp. Tang marking is sharp. Tang sight is very good. Stocks are very good, full sized, and show minor handling marks overall. Carbine butt shows traces of blue, as does the front bbl band. 95 carbines in this cal saw considerable use in the Texas Ranger service. 51138-40 TEP (1,000-1,500)
