RARE REMINGTON MODEL 121 "THE FIELDMASTER" DELUXE SLIDE ACTION RIFLE.REMINGTON121 DELUXE15277522LRMODERN; C&RCal 22. Beautiful deluxe Remington with 24-1/2" rnd bbl, 3/4 magazine, silver bead front sight & sheet metal rear sight. BBl & receiver have standard Remington 121 markings. Mounted with very nicely figured American walnut with long, diamond checkered forearm & pistol grip stock with Remington embossed checkered aluminum buttplate. The deluxe Fieldmaster rifles are seldom encountered and are usually found in hard used condition. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Overall retains 98-99% crisp, orig factory blue with only faint muzzle edge wear. Shows little evidence of ever having been fired. Buttstock has a couple of small handling & storage nicks in the finish and a small scrape on the tip of the forearm. Wood is sound and retains virtually all of its orig factory finish.
