Shipped to Hartley & Graham, New York, New York, March 30, 1883. Accompanied by Colt factor letter and signed affidavit from family of R.D. "Boss" Thorp, Chief of Police of Austin, TX. Born in Jollyville, TX. Played baseball and became an iconic lawman. CONDITION: Very fine overall, with carved wood grips. Moderate holster wear at muzzle and leading edges of cyl from years of carry. Bore and mechanics are fine. Some later replacement screws and cyl pin appear to have been installed at an earlier date.
