REMINGTON DOUBLE DERINGER TYPE III MODEL NO. 4 PISTOL. REMINGTON DOUBLE DERINGER 314 41RF MODERN; C&R Cal. .41 RF. 3" bbls, full blue finish with 2-pc Mother-of-Pearl grips. Bbls shows Remington-U.M.C. mark on top of rib. SN is stamped on left inside of grip frame and on the bottom of the bbl lug. Deringer is otherwise unmarked. PROVENANCE: Bruce Burtner Collection. CONDITION: Almost as new, and appears unfired. Bbl retains 99% of the blue finish with slight high point wear at the muzzle, a bright muzzle face, bright shiny bores with sharp rifling and clear markings. Frame also retains 98% blue finish with only some light scratches on both sides and a small spot of erosion on the backstrap. Markings are clear. Hammer, hinge screw, lever latch, retain nearly all of their blue finish. Trigger shows light wear. Grips are intact with no chips or cracks and only slight abrasion on the left grip. An opportunity to obtain a Remington Double Deringer in nearly new condition, hard to improve upon. 51641-4 TEP (1,500-2,000)
