GIFFARD TYPE AIR RIFLE BY ST. ETIENNE ARMS & CYCLE WORKS.ST EtienneAIR RIFLE53408MMCal. 8mm round ball. 25" Round bbl with French Arms and Cycle Works marking along with "ST. ETIENNE" in gold on top. Rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation. Blued and engraved action has rotating bolt to chamber ball, and an 11" air cylinder mounts under bbl. Plain walnut stock is checkered at grip. Buttplate is embossed with a hot air balloon, and "Paul Giffard Inventeur". CONDITION: Excellent. Rifle itself retains nearly all its orig blue, and stock finish.
