8 BORE BRITISH PERCUSSION SINGLE RIFLE.BRITISHPERC SGL RIFLENSN8 BORECal. 8 bore. .875 Groove diameter. Multi groove rifling. 24" Swamped octagon bbl has under rib with two plain pipes holding steel ramrod. Patent breech has unvented platinum blow-out. Bar lock is scroll engraved. Lightly figured walnut stock is iron mounted and has contrasting forend tip. CONDITION: Good, as partially refinished. Bbl and lock have even brown patina, some traces of color remain on lockplate. Hammer has been replaced. Stock has relatively recent varnish over old finish. Forend tip is an epoxy replacement. Bore is good with strong rifling, brown and rusty. Lock is good.
