COLLECTOR'S LOT OF TWO WALTHER MODEL 1 SEMI AUTO SPORTING RIFLES. WALTHER MOD 1 2249 22 MODERN; C&R Cal. 22 LR. 20-1/2" sporter bbl with triangular front sight and Express rear with 1 standing and 2 folding leafs. Unique semi auto receiver with manual single shot override is marked with maker's banner, fitted for claw mount. Tang safety, 5 rnd detachable mag. Sporter style walnut stock with checkered semi pistol grip, Walther marked hard rubber buttplate. Factory sling swivels. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbl and rec retain most of its factory blue finish with scattered light to moderate pitting and high edge wear, left rear rec and trigger bow have heavier oxidation. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Excellent plus. Bbl and rec retain most of its factory blue finish with the slightest of high edge wear. Wood retains most of its factory finish with the only a minor rub, nick, handling mark here and there. Buttplate is excellent. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is bright.
