COLLECTOR'S LOT OF THREE WALTHER MODEL 2 RIMFIRE SPORTING RIFLES. WALTHER MODEL 2 3596 22 MODERN; C&R Cal. 22 LR. 24-1/2" sporter bbl with ramp front sight and triangular insert, 200M tangent rear sight. Unique semi auto receiver with manual single shot override is marked with maker's banner, front ring has claw mount provision, rear bridge is drilled and tapped with single hole. Military style safety, 5 rnd detachable mag. Sporter style walnut stock with grooved forestock and checkered semi pistol grip, Walther marked hard rubber buttplate. Factory sling swivels. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbl and rec retain about 75-80% blue finish with light to moderate scattered pitting and handling marks throughout. Wood shows numerous light handing marks from usage. Buttplate is good.
