FINE CHARLES DALY 12 GA BOXLOCK GAME GUN.CHARLES DALYMID GRADE122912GAMODERN; C&RCal 12 ga. 30" Krupp fluid steel bbls. 2-5/8" chambers. Choked Extra Full/Extra Full with very tight bore. Full length matted top rib with brass front bead marked " Charles Daly Krupp Fluid Steel Barrels". Scalloped boxlock action with side clips. Dbl checkered triggers curved for a lefty, auto ejectors, auto safety. Round knob pistol grip buttstock checkered in two-point pattern with checkered side panels. Nickel oval in stock. 14" LOP over lined horn buttplate. Splinter forearm with Deeley release and ebony tip. Action is nicely scroll engraved with about 30% coverage as is trigger guard. Top of action is stippled and "Safe" in gold in front of safety. Weight: 7 lbs. 8 oz. CONDITION: Very good to excellent as found and appears orig and untouched throughout. Bbls retain approx 80% orig blued finish with several areas of light corrosion from humidity and poor storage, most notably on sides near breech. Receiver retains approx 35% orig case color, toning toward bottom and front of action. Buttstock and forearm are very good and retain most orig finish with scattered light handling marks throughout. Minor losses on left side of forearm at frame and small chip near tip. Buttplate with minor worm wear. With light cleaning and mild professional restoration, this will be a beautiful high quality sporting gun for many, many years to come. 51603-2 JSL (2,500-4,500)
