RARE SCAGEL HUNTER'S KNIFE WITH CROWN STAG POMMEL.Beautiful Scagel with 5-7/8" slight clip point flat ground blade that has Mr. Scagel's trademark Kriss stamp on the left side at the hand guard. Blade is 1" at the ricasso. Hand-guard is oval brass, flat on the bottom and scalloped on the top edge. Handle material is stacked leather with red & aluminum spacers, and a beautiful crown stag pommel secured with a brass pin. This knife is very typical of Mr. Scagel's work with the addition of the beautiful crown stag pommel. SIZE: CONDITION: Very good. Blade shows light surface etching with pitting around the tip and fine pitting on right side of blade. Handle is extremely fine. Stag pommel shows a wonderful mellow patina. 51473-2 JRL (5,000-7,500)
