WINCHESTER MODEL 52C SPORTER BOLT ACTION RIFLE WITH LEUPOLD SIX POWER SCOPE M8.WINCHESTER52C97114C22LRMODERN; C&RCal. .22 LR. 24" rnd bbl, blue finish, straight grained American walnut stocks with checkered pistol grip and forearm, cheek piece, and checkered steel buttplate. Stock has Winchester sling swivel mounts. Plain steel pistol grip cap. Ebony forend tip. Trigger has two adjustment screws in front of bow. Bbl shows Winchester trademark with model and cal designation rolled on left side at the breech. "WP" proof on left at breech adjacent to "WP" proof on receiver in front of SN. Receiver has SN stamped on left side of forward ring. Bolt has SN written with electric pencil on bottom flat. Right side of forward receiver ring shows Winchester trademark. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Bbl retains 90% blue finish that is fading to a plum/brown patina toward the muzzle. Bbl shows slight muzzle wear. Front sight is good. No rear sight mounted on bbl. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Receiver shows 90% blue finish with sharp markings. Trigger guard and floor plate also shows bright blue with edge wear on the bow, front of trigger guard is drifting to a plum/brown patina. Stocks are very good, with sharp checkering, and very few handling marks. Buttplate and pistol grip cap show considerable blue finish, as do the sling swivel mounts. Forend cap in also very good. Scope optics are clear. A very nice Winchester model 52C rifle. 51500-9 TEP (3,000-5,000)
