UNIQUE PARKER DH 16 GA FOUR BARREL SET SHOTGUN WITH CASE.PARKERDH14969916GAMODERN; C&R; ESACal. 16 ga. Bbl set 1) ga. 26" bbls. 2-5/8" chambers. Choked Cyl/Imp Mod. Bbl set 2) 27" bbls. 2-5/8" chambers. Choked Mod/Mod. Bbl set 3) 28" bbls. 2-5/8" chambers. Choked Full/Imp Mod. Bbl set 4) 30" bbls. 2-3/4" chambers. Choked Full/Full. All bbl sets with full length matted Damascus top rib,front ivory beads and standard Damascus legend. #1 frame. Dbl triggers, extractors, auto safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock with gold oval in cap and toe checkered in three-point pattern with 14" LOP over skeleton butt. Side panels are checkered. Four splinter forearms checkered in standard D Grade pattern. Receiver is engraved in typical D Grade pattern - setter on right, pointer on left surrounded by flowing Parker scroll. This gun is also accompanied by an orig Grade 3 stock with checkered side panels and gold cap in pistol cap engraved "Dana" and an extra forearm for a D Grade Parker. The entire outfit is housed in 21" x 34" oak custom casing with green felt interior. This exact gun was featured in the spring 2015 Parker Pages. This exact gun is also pictured in the "Parker Story". This lot being offered without reserve. CONDITION: Very good as heavily used and serviced by Parker Brothers many times as outlined in the "Parker Pages" article. All four bbl very good and retain most of their orig pattern with minor staining and light toning. Bores overall are very good with minor orange peel. Receiver is silver with engraving lightly worn. Both buttstocks were broken but repaired through the wrist and retain most of their older restored finish. Checkering thinned. Forearms are very good with checkering thinned particularly on shorter sets. Case is excellent with minor handling marks.
