SCARCE LIGHTWEIGHT PARKER DHE 12 GA GAME GUN WITH ORIGINAL SINGLE TRIGGER. PARKER DHE 202193 12GA MODERN; C&R Cal 12 ga. 26" (orig length) Titanic steel bbls. 2-3/4" chambers. Choked Cyl/Cyl. Full length matted top rib. Front bead is missing. #1 frame with unstruck bbl weight of 3 lbs 4 oz. Parker SST, auto ejectors, auto safety. Straight grip stock checkered in standard DH pattern with unengraved brass oval and skeleton butt, LOP of 13-7/8" from rear position sgl trigger. Splinter forearm checkered in standard DH pattern with Deeley release and steel tip. Receiver is engraved in standard DHE pattern, engraving chased, pointer on left, setter on right, surrounded by Parker scroll. Weight: 6 lbs 9 oz. PROVENANCE: The Forest R. Marshall Collection. CONDITION: Extremely fine as refurbished, retaining virtually all of its restored finish to wood and metal. Buttstock and forearm with a couple of minute handling marks are reddish in tone with a glossier finish. Bores are excellent, bright and shiny. Slight play in hinge when open though bbls are on face. Mechanics are crisp, trigger and ejectors are in time. This gun matches the record as found in the Parker Identification and Serialization Book. 51143-5 JSL (2,500-4,000)
