SCARCE SPECIAL ORDER L.C. SMITH 16 GA SPECIALTY GRADE SHOTGUN RESTORED BY JERRY ANDREWS.L.C. SMITHSPECIALTYFWE12328916GAMODERN; C&R; ESACal. 16 ga. 26" bbls. 2-5/8" chambers. Chokes Mod/Mod. Full length matted top rib with twin ivory beads and gold bar near breech. Featherweight frame. Hunter one trigger, auto ejectors, non-auto safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock checkered in two-point pattern with 13" LOP from rear position sgl trigger over serrated lined HRBP. Splinter forearm with roll type release checkered in three-point pattern with triangular ebony tip. Receiver is engraved in standard Specialty pattern. Quail on left, ducks on right, surrounded by scroll engraving. Trigger guard bow is factory engraved with orig owner's name in banner "Wylie R. Reynolds/ Jackson Mich". Weight: 6 lbs. 3 oz. Accompanied for an L.C. Smith Collectors Association research letter describing this gun in its current configuration. CONDITION: Excellent as restored by Jerry Andrews, retaining nearly all of his custom finishes to both wood and metal. Buttstock has been repaired at time of restoration which is now nearly invisible behind lockplates. Mechanics are very good. Bores are bright and shiny. 51716-2 JSL (2,000-3,500)
