Top rib with steel mid bead and brass front bead. Case hardened frame stamped "Western Field" on left. 14-1/8" LOP over lined HRBP. Capped full pistol grip buttstock checkered in three-point pattern. Schnabel forearm with three diamond checkered pattern. Ejector. Weight: 6 lbs. 6 oz. PROVENANCE: The William Hammond Collection. CONDITION: Extremely fine and near mint retaining nearly all orig finish to wood and metal. Scattered light handling marks but overall excellent with particularly vivid case color. Mechanics are crisp. Bright shiny bores. Not a rare gun, but very unusual in this state of preservation. 51407-10 JSL (400-700)
