NEAT ROY VAIL CUSTOM 20 GA SHOTGUN WITH GOLD INLAY.VAILSxS BOXLOCK7060620GAMODERN; C&R; ESACal. 20 ga. 26-1/4" bbls with 3" chambers, choked MOD/FULL. Full length matted top rib with ivory mid and front beads, gold inlaid "ROY VAIL WARWICK N.Y" with gold bar near breech. Dbl triggers, auto ejectors, non auto safety. Straight grip buttstock checkered in 3-pt pattern with gold oval near toe engraved "JM" with 14-5/8" LOP over orig leather faced red pad. Short beavertail forearm checkered in 2-pt pattern with Curtis push pad release. Receiver is lightly scroll engraved with gold inlaid duck in marsh scene on left, flying gold pheasant in field on right. Right side of buttstock with nicely inlaid wood dog's head near butt. Coin finished receiver. Date of "Dec 63" noted at back of TG tang. Weight: 6lb. 2oz. CONDITION: Excellent with light field use. Bbls retain nearly all of their custom blue finish. Buttstock and forearm are excellent and retain nearly all of their custom finish with light handing marks. Receiver is excellent with very minor staining noted. Bores are bright and shiny.
