Imp cyl/modified. Cal .20 28" bbl set #2. 28" Special steel bbls. 3" chambers. Chokes marked. Mod/Full. Both sets with low profile matted ventilated top rib and small steel front bead. Gold-plated sgl selective trigger, auto ejectors, non-auto safety. Stunning flame grained walnut buttstock checkered in two-point pattern with 14-1/4" LOP over black plastic Browning buttplate stock is RKST configured. Both forearms are round-nosed and checkered in four-point pattern. Receiver is engraved in typical Pigeon-grade style with two pigeons on each side surrounded by light scroll. Tops of fences are nicely carved, bottom of action with floral bursts and scroll engraving. Housed in its orig Browning tan case with tags and orig paperwork enclosed. PROVENANCE: The William Hammond Collection. CONDITION: Extremely fine and near mint. This gun was purchased new by our consignor through Jaquas Fine Guns, and he has never shot it. Retains virtually all orig finish to both wood and metal with only ever so slight discoloration to the back of the top tang and minute handling marks. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are crisp. Case is excellent with minor handling marks. Box with matching end label is excellent to near mint with only minor scuffs and edge wear.
