COLT MKIV/SERIES 70 GOVERNMENT MODEL PISTOL WITH NUMBERED BOX. COLT MKIV/SERIES 70 GOVERNMENT 70G29521 45 MODERN Cal. 45 ACP. Right side of slide marking "Colt's Government Model", left slide marking "Colt's MKIV/Series 70 Government Model .45 Automatic Caliber" with Rampant Colt. Upper left trigger guard bow marked "3" for final inspector, lower left trigger guard bow has verified proof, mag marked "Colt .45 Auto.", upper right trigger guard bow is marked "S" for final assembler, receiver right side has standard 1-line address above SN, bbl marked "Colt .45 Auto MKIV/Series 70". Full checkered walnut stocks have Colt medallion in middle. Box marked blue with "Nickel Finish" on sticker. Trigger, slide stop, thumb safety, hammer, and mainspring housing serrated, recoil spring plug is checkered. CONDITION: Pistol is near excellent +, with orig Colt wood grained cover box with one broken corner but otherwise sound, with anti-rust paper and instruction sheet, proper SN marked on end sticker. Rear of slide shows minor spotting, left side shows minor scratches, and minor scratches on right side, grip strap shows minor scratches.
