LOT OF TWO WALTHER SPORT MODEL MEISTERBUCHSEN BOLT ACTION TARGET RIFLES. WALTHER MEISTERBUCHSE 26686W 22 MODERN; C&R Cal. .22LR. 25-1/2" heavy target bbl with ramp front sight with gold bead insert and military style rear sight mounted on grooved bbl rails, adjustable for Parallax. Sgl shot receiver is grooved for tip-off rings and is marked with the maker's legend. Military style trigger and safety. Fine walnut stock features multi-point wrap around checkering, capped pistol grip, and factory marked hard rubber buttplate. Trigger bow is also checkered. Missing factory sling swivels. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good plus. Gun retains about 95% of its bbl and receiver finish with wear to the high points and muzzle with some light to moderate scattered pitting throughout. Wood finish is fine with only a few light scattered handling marks. A tiny knot check exists in right grip panel checkering. Buttplate shows some minor shrinkage. Mechanics crisp.
