Marked on left side of slide Walther banner, "Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do."/"P38 Cal.9mm Para". Marked on left trigger guard web "68", stag antler/eagle "N". Marked on right side of frame "MADE IN WEST-GERMANY". Eagle "N" proof on front of bbl. Matching SN on frame and bbl. Alloy frame. Checkered black plastic grips. Walther banner, "P38 9mm" marked magazine. Blue leatherette case with Walther banner on red satin interior lining of lid. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good with light handling marks. Slight finish wear on high points. Very light scratches on grips. Excellent bore. Excellent working order. Checkered wood grips. Comes in orig box with spare wood bottomed magazine, bbl weight and cleaning rod. This is a commercially made copy of the Walther 1936 Olympia pistol.
