Marked on left side of slide Walther banner/"Made in W.Germany", "Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do." over "P38 Cal. 22 l.r.". Right side of slide marked with commercial eagle N proof and SN, "INTERARMS ALEXANDRIA/VIRGINIA". Marked on left trigger guard web "71" followed by stag antler/eagle N proof. SN lightly marked on right side of frame. "22l.r."/ eagle N proof on front of bbl. Lightening cuts on top front of slide. Black plastic grips. Alloy frame. Comes with a total of two Walther banner "P38 cal. 5.6mm" marked magazines. Brown cardboard box marked on lid Walther banner, "Pistole P 38/Carl Walther, Waffenfabrik, Ulm-Donau". Orig label on end of lid listing caliber and matching SN. Orig test target. Correct cleaning rod and manual. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Fine, with some light areas of wear to finish. Excellent grips. Excellent bore. Excellent working order. Box is missing internal cardboard partition. Light scuff marks on edges. "7,65 PARA" marked on front of bbl. Alloy frame. Black plastic checkered grips. Comes with a total of two magazines marked Walther banner/"P38/cal 7.65mm Para". Brown cardboard box marked on lid with Walther banner outlined in silver. End label on lid confirms cal. and SN. Orig target. Manual, warranty card, and plastic cleaning rod also present.
