LOT OF TWO EARLY IMPORT COMMERCIAL POST-WAR P38 PISTOLS IN CASES. WALTHER P38 325379 22 MODERN; C&R Cal. 22. 5" bbl. Marked on left side of slide banner Walther "Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do." over "P38 Cal 5,6mm". Right side of slide marked with commercial eagle N proof and "12/66". Marked on left trigger guard web "69" followed by stag antler/eagle N proof. Marked on right side of slide "Made in West-Germany". Eagle N proof on front of bbl. Lightening cuts on top front of slide. Black plastic grips. Alloy frame. This is one of the first 22 cal. P.38's imported into the U.S., marked for the European market. Comes with a total of two Walther banner "P38 cal. 5.6mm" marked magazines. In fitted blue leatherette case, Walther banner marked on interior red satin lid lining. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Fine, retaining most of the finish with light handling marks. Very good grips. Excellent bore.
