LOT OF THREE POST-WAR P38 STYLE PISTOLS. EAST GERMAN P38 2174 9MM MODERN; C&R Cal. 9mm. 5" bbl. Single action only. Dural frame. Frame is devoid of any maskings. Matching SN on front of bbl and left side of slide. Slide has crown "U" proof mark. Czech rampant lion on top of bbl. Crown "N" proof under bbl. Aluminum grips. "P.38v/u" phosphate mag. Gun is believed to be post-war assembled. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Slide and bbl retain most of a dark blue finish. Spot of discoloration just ahead of commercial proof on left side of frame. No finish on frame. Handling marks on frame and grips. Bore has good rifling with light pitting and slight roughness. 51569-64 GER (1,750-2,250)
