ENGRAVED HIGH STANDARD MODEL B SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL.HI STANDARDMODEL B3757322LRMODERN; C&RCal. .22LR. 4-1/2" bbl with full blued finish. 2-pc checkered plastic grips with Hi-Standard logo in a circle. Pistol is engraved overall with a vine motif that has a punch dot background. Bbl has bands at the muzzle and breech. Receiver shows almost full coverage with the exception of the backstrap which is plain. Slide also shows full coverage engraving. Engraving is nicely accomplished. Left side of bbl lug shows Hi-Standard address, patent mark, and caliber designation. Left side of slide reads "Hi-Standard"/ "Model B". SN is stamped on the front strap. Mag is not marked. PROVENANCE: The Frank H. Wheaton, III Collection. CONDITION: Very fine as refinished after engraving. Pistol retains nearly all of the blue finish. Markings are clear and sharp. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Grips are fine, intact, with sharp checkering and clear logos. Mag also retains nearly all of the re-blue finish.
