This is a nice example of a percussion conversion on the last year made of the Model 1836 martial sgl shot pistol. Lock is marked with an eagle head over "A.H. WATERS & CO / MILBURY, MASS / 1844". CONDITION: Good to very good overall. Metal is overall grey with scattered areas of staining and pitting. Stock is sound and solid with two well discerned inspector's cartouches. Swivel appears to be restoration, otherwise all orig and matching. Mechanically fine and functional. 51127-15 JS (750-1,250)
